Gregg Nyce & DJ Riz – 9.25.2010 – Building 24

Saturday September 25th DJ Riz came through Reading, PA and rocked the brand new, spacious, and state of the art Building 24.

As many of you know, Riz is one half of Crooklyn Clan and has created some of the biggest party records of all time including “Be Faithful”, “It Takes Scoop”, and “Ladyz Reggae Bounce.”

Being a working DJ before the Serato era it was absolutely essential to have Crooklyn’s productions mostly on AV8 Records.  It was always dope to hear how Riz & Sizzahands would flip an already bangin new track into a party joint. Besides remixing & production, the dude is legendary on the wheels.  One of my first trips to an NY club was the Limelight where Riz and dudes like PF Cuttin would rock on the reg.  It was great to go back to back on 4 turntables longside one of NYC’s greatest.  More to come no doubt!  Stay tuned.
